Michael Farr, D.M.D.

Dr. Farr grew up around Chicago and received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. From there he went to Temple University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He has won numerous awards for his knowledge and skill and he continues to take a lot of classes to further his expertise. Dr. Farr is married with three children and he loves spending time with his family, playing saxophone, and exercising.

Frankie

“I received my Bachelors of Human Resources from Northern Illinois University and I live in Sycamore. The drive out to work with Dr. Farr is well worth it. I love working with patients and the staff is so friendly. It feels great to be a part of a team that is committed to excellence and satisfaction. In my spare time I enjoy spending a lot of time with my niece and nephew and exercising.”

Janet

Janet has been a dental assistant and office manager for thirty-six years. She loves to put people at ease especially when they are afraid of having dental work done. She absolutely loves the business! Janet has been married for thirty-five years and has two grown children. She also has a pet dos which she considers her third child. She grew up in Chicago and lives in the suburbs. She has been with the team since August 2006 and really does a great job communicating with people.

Dawn

“I recently had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with the Crown Council. That experience has rekindled my passion for dental hygiene and reinforced the true value of being a compassionate and skilled practitioner. In my 30+ years as a dental hygienist I have given great dental care and believe my soft gentle technique is extremely important and is appreciated by patients as well. I feel educating patients along the way is an important part of their dental care. Dr. Farr is very current with his techniques and his skills are the best I have seen in my many years. I love to see him when he is performing a cosmetic procedure. You can see the true artist at work and you see the “magic” appear. The true magic shines through when you witness the boost in a person’s self esteem after one of his life changing dental procedures.

I am very proud to be part of this team whose ultimate goal is to deliver quality dentistry in a very comfortable and caring environment.

I have three children who have enhanced my life and now I am watching them grow and experience their own career paths in life and start their own families.

In my down time I try to reach out and help others. I am a true giver and find that makes me happiest. I have been accused of trying to “save the world”. What a crazy accusation, but boy wouldn’t that be nice if I could!”
